Economy is continuing to bloom in Fort Collins

Fort Collins residents returned to the stores last year spending money on food, clothes and new cars, a strong indicator of consumer confidence.  Use taxes paid on building permits and cars purchased outside city limits were up nearly 10 and 20 percent respectively in December, reflecting November sales, according to the city’s monthly sales and use tax report released Tuesday.  Read the
